And you're entitled to your opinion, that's why I asked for them, but I personally don't feel like I look illiterate at all. I just like the different spelling, which, being as it is my child, I'm just as entitled to. Just because it's not spelled how you like it, doesn't make it wrong.

Sure, you're entitled to that choice but its not your name. Think about the kid who has to live with the name. Its easy to deal with the "I spelled it how I liked it" situation, when you don't have to put up with it.

Omg, you must be pretty stupid. Do you know what Etymology is to just be writing it off like it doesn't matter? Yes...it really does and I feel bad for your daughter because shes going to go through life with a misspelled dudes name because her mom can't be bothered to research or spell correctly.

For me to be pretty stupid, you sure don't seem to realize that people spell their children's names differently ALL the time. I could completely used people who are less bitchy's opinion. Go be a bitch to the next girl sweetie. All I asked was if people liked the name. I didn't ask for your remarks about my intelligence level, or whether you think I can spell. You don't like the name. Of course I realize it - they look just as illiterate and uneducated as you do, it's sad that it's just OK and accepted to randomly misspell things, especially when it's the child who suffers.
