As long she doesn't have a rash i don't see the problem.that's my suspicions when my brother neglects my kids .if their butt is red and tender theybe obviously been sitting in smurf.my son can't go 20 minutes with a poopy diaper without his bum turning red.

When DD started getting to that point, I cut her fluids almost in half. Now she drinks probably 8-10 sippy cups a day and I think the cups are 9 and 12OZ. She usually uses the 9oz ones though.

1 to 3 is 2 hours. And that's not long to go between changes, IMO.

A 19 month old doesn't need a diaper change every 1.5 hours

She should only need 1or 2 diaper changes in that time period depending on her age... how old is she? And tell mil how you feel, but what makes you feel like she isn't being changes enough?
