having two kids

posted 24th Nov
Did anyone feel like they treated their first better than the second. I just don't have as much time to spend with my son as I did with my daughter. I feel like a bad mom but I just have another kids to take care of too.

I do feel like this sometimes. My oldest is 3 and my youngest is 18 months. They are very different, in a good way but my youngest whines and cries and is all over me 24/7. I feel myself just pushing her away sometimes because I'm trying to do thiNgs and she's hanging on me crying for the 1000th time that day.

I feel like I got more bonding time with DS1. But now that I have to split up my attention between both of them DS2 does get more attention but not nearly as much as DS1 did as a baby. You're not a bad mom thats just life.

Mine are the opposite right now. My oldest was always so happy and never cried when he was a baby, he's been really easy. The new baby is another story he cries all the time and so far has been way more high maintenance than his big brother.

This is the same with my 5 month old and 3 year old. I feel so bad because I barely have time for my 3 year old.
