Are you sure you're hearing baby's heartbeat and not your own? 75-85 is abnormal for a fetus at any gestation but is normal for mum.

they say you cant get an accurate reading in those things til its about 11wks EARLIEST, I had one and it was jheck trying to find her in the beginning, so if you're not always hearing it going fast you're probably not hearing it clearly right now, wait til babies a little bigger and you'll hear it more prominently

Its most likely yours. My ob told me that arteries can read different the further away from your heart you are. So maybe you picking up your pulse in your arteries?

No that's your heartbeat.
I found my sons for the first time(very early on at 9w4d) and it was around 186.

Are you going by the reading on the screen or are you actually timing it and counting?

hmmm if you are sure its babies, then id be kinda worried... usually they are faster than our own and easier to find.

9 weeks is still EARLY to be able to hear a HB with a doppler.

im going by the reading on the screen. i figured there was just something wrong with the baby. the heartbeat doesnt sound like mine. it sounds exactly like it did with my daughter and my heartbeat has a very distinct sound to it. kinda like a weird beat to it.

babies HB are fast and hae the swoosh swoosh... you could be hitting an artery which gives a different type of HB sound.
