Today is the first time I was ask to leave a place because as I quote "not everyone agreed with what I was doing"

Well if you must know all I was doing was to feed my baby. I was in the back of a big office with no one around me. I wasn't particulary trying to hide but no one was around us either.
So yeah. The security gard just came up to me and told me to take my stuff and just leave. That next time I shouldn't bring my baby with me but if I do I should have the decency to not breastfeed and make a show out of myself.....

I was in so much chock I didn't even say anything. But I really wish I had made a scene. I m so upset about what happened.
Next time I ll make sure to take my baby with me and feed him in front of everyone

What kind of office was it? That is SOOOO illegal here. I would have given him a piece of my mind and told him to call the cops if he wanted me out so bad.

Well, that is what I did when some stupid girls tried to kick me out of a pizza place for breastfeeding..

I have no idea about the law but I m pretty sure I have the right to breastfeed wherever I want. I ve never heard anything like this happening to my breastfeeding friends before. But it doesn't mean it never happens.

OP, the UK's Equality Act (October 2010) protects breastfeeding women.

What does the law say?
The new Equality Act says that it is sex discrimination to treat a woman unfavourably because she is breastfeeding. It applies to anyone providing services, benefits, facilities and premises to the public, public bodies, further and higher education bodies and association. Service providers include most organisations that deal directly with the public. Service providers must not discriminate, harass or victimise a woman because she is breastfeeding. Discrimination includes refusing to provide a service, providing a lower standard of service or providing a service on different terms. Therefore, a cafe owner cannot ask you to stop breastfeeding or refuse to serve you.

Where can a woman breastfeed? You are protected in public places such as parks, sports and leisure facilities, public buildings and when using public transport such as buses, trains and planes. You are protected in shops, public, restaurants and hotels regardless of how big of small. You are also protected in places like hospitals, theatres, cinemas and petrol stations.

I'm so angry for you right now. You should go back there and tell him he has no right to do that or send the cops over to talk to him.
AT LEAST file a complaint with his company!!!

If I were you, I'd go back there with 4 or 5 of my breastfeeding friends and have a big breastfeeding sit in- no covers. Smurf them!
