I like it. It's pretty. Lila Mei Ebony or Lila Ebony Mei.

google girl earthy names or girl flower names thats what i did we are nameing are baby who os due today but wont be here for a while yet im afraid at least a week or more jasmine ivy

They're nice names  
I have you know, I've googled loads and trawled through loads of books! But nI havent found anything I like better than Lila and Ebony. My boyfriend likes Lila and not Ebony so she'll most likely end up Lila!

It can be, it's just associated with black culture and it would be unexpected. I personally don't like it on any race and sisters named Ebony and Ivory is just awful.

That's what people told me when I was naming my son malikia, but all the Ebony's I know are African American, tho it doesn't matter.

I have learned that its popular within the african american community in the states throughout this pregnancy, never knew that before!

Here in the UK i've only ever heard it on white girls, but not many as it's unusual in general.

I live in Liverpool where 99% of the population is white so it never crossed my mind as an issue lol
