Naughty Corner?

So i made the 'naughty corner' when my first daughter Makenna was 2 years old because she was going through a naughty stage. But now she is 6 and can still be really naughty when she wants to. The other week she hit her little sister and I put her on the step, it worked but it didnt feel right! is the naughty step to young for Makenna now? Should I start to send her to her bedroom or keep the naughty step?

My mom always had a time out chair for us in the hallway because we had toys in our room so it wasnt really punishment to be sent there.

I had the word naughty when a kids being bad lol.
