re: how many outfits

Wow - people go way overboard lmao.

I had maybe 20 onsies, 10 - 15 sleepers and like 15 - 20 actual outfits. and that was more than enough and that is considering that I was in NY in March when it was still cold out AND I had to take laundry to my MIL's house.

It's such a huge waste to buy tons and tons of outfits, seriously - and definitely do only a few newborn sizes, even if he DOES stay in them for a bit, it's not going ot hurt him to be in 0-3months. 3-6 months was honestly the size we used the longest.

Wow people buy way to many clothes! My son wore newborn for about 7 days... he had like 4 or 5 onsies and 4-5 pants, and 3 sleepers. He didn't even wear it all... I focused more on getting the 0-3 month size stuff since I had a feeling he was going to be a chunk and just had a few newborn things incase.

All together I have like 15-20 pieces of clothing. When I need to go baack to work I want to put clothing at my moms instead of packing a diaper bag every morning. I plan on having double of everything instead of dragging things back and fourth.

DD did have a lot of clothes but only because they were gifts but it wasn't past 30.

I didn't get much at my shower which is fine. Its going to be cold so I n3 to get some warmee clothes. I didd get quite a few socks

Yeah, I would definitely get things for your moms house - maybe a couple packs of onsies, some sleepers and a couple outfits and blanket sleepers. Will the baby be spending the night? If not, I wouldn't get a full on wardrobe, personally.
