need advice...

My BIL, his girlfriend, and MIL had a huge falling out. What MIL did involved their daughter and was serious enough that they are no longer in contact with MIL.

I have my own personal issues with the woman so I rarely speak to her, and because of the issue with my neice, she is only allowed to see my kiddos for a few minutes every now and then.

Anyways, my neices birthday is coming up and we have been invired to her party. MIL is not invited.

I havent told hubby yet and dont know how i should handle this. . Hubby is a stupid mamas boy. I just know if I tell him aboit it he is either going to tell MIL the details, or start a fight with me saying it isnt fair and we shouldnt go if MIL is not invited.

I only say this because MIL and the gf were fighting around the time of her anatomy scan. I made the mistake of telling hubby that I was going and MIL was not invited. It started a huge fight and he told me that I was selfish for not sticking up for MIL. I went anyways!!!

My sis says I should just drop it on uim when it is time to head to the party. MIL can not drive so she would not have a ride.

I hate hiding things from hubby but I hate his favoritism towards his mom.

Since this is a party that you are not holding, don't feel bad about telling your husband. IF he says you shouldn't go because MIL isn't invited, tell him that since you are not hosting it, that you have no say in who is invited and who is not.
