Will I stop peeing my pants after I have the baby?

posted 24th Nov
Sorry if that's tmi, I know it's pretty common so I didn't think it would be a big deal.So I'm only 18 weeks pregnant and the baby is laying LOW. Like right on my bladder, has been since the very beginning. It's fine and everything, but pregnancy is making me sneeze more than I ever have in my life and every time I sneeze/cough I pee my pants.
Pleeeease tell me this will return to normal after I have the baby.
Right now I just wear pads/pantyliners so it doesn't get everywhere. Did you ladies have any other tricks to deal with this?

Yeah, I couldn't get through a day without wearing pads. haha. My mom said she only had this problem when she was pregnant with me but she doesn't remember if it went away afterwards or if she had to deal with it for awhile. That's why I was curious about other people's experiences.

I still peed from coughing really badly, but nothing compared to when I was pregnant and literally pushed everything out. My constant need to pee never went away either, even when there was barely anything

When I had really bad morning sickness I would pee myself every time I threw up, and now I'm 28 weeks and when I sneeze SO will hear a "Damn it!" from across the house and start giggling. I hope this goes away.   I haven't had to wear pads thank God this mostly happens at home.

It's great!! NOT lol... I hate it, happens to me all the time which is why I wear panty liners. It's so annoying... if i'm out and about, and don't have a panty liner... I try to avoid sneezing or anything. Yesterday at Black Friday, we were getting ready to leave his cousins house, to go shopping... my husband sprayed something and I instantly dry heaved (wasn't sick, but certain smells make me dry heave), made me pee a little and I didn't have a liner it was quite interesting... thank goodness it wasn't bad enough to notice.

That's ok when I throw up and pee all over the bathroom floor which I'm not even ashamed about anymore. he's the one I make clean it up. He's not laughing then.
