Quoting Melissa Amazeen:" my hair suddenly got extremely oily an gross on the top of my heAd, i had this with my last pregnancy ... [snip!] ... i can do to clear it up? i also have to use dandruff shampoo because my dry scalp is out of this world...someone help please"

Also, apple cider vinegar is great for dandruff. I have seborrhoeic dermatitis in my eyebrows pretty bad, and just a swipe of that on each eyebrow ONCE, will get rid of it for months at a time. I'm interested to try it for the greasy hair because I too have gotten this issue. I thought it was my shampoo. I didn't have this problem when I used Pantene or Garnier Fructis.

I hope the apple cider vinegar works for you ladies, I'm interested to hear if it does. Like I said, I read about it and tried it once and it worked very well, so I hope its the same for everyone

Do you have a Sally's Beauty Supply near you? Or I guess you could get it at walmart, but I have this astringent called Sea Breeze that I used on my roots the other night and it seemed to work pretty well. Just apply, rub, rinse, and then shampoo and conditioner. Good luck!

OH.MY.GOD!! The apple cider vinegar is a DREAM!! I use about a cup of it to totally saturate my hair and I rub it in and let it sit for a minute then rinse it out and shampoo and condition as usual, my hair is back to normal! Before it would be a greasy mess on my crown before It even dried all the way! I did it last week and my hair was good for three more showers so only need to do it about once a week. So glad I tried it! Though I strongly suggest you warm it up..I've been doing it straight from the bottle and OMFG COLD! lol
