You Ever Have One of Those Days...

DS has ASD. Needless to say, he can be a handful. SO is on vacation this week, but he has been gone hunting, going to football games... so, im stuck in the house all day with DS. He has been sooooooo whiny, throwing tantrums, screaming, crying... i feel like if i dont get a break from him im going to go smurfing nuts, so his memaw is coming to get him for the day. tell me im not the only mom who ever feels this way....

No, we all need a break from time to time. I have those days when DS is just a little gremlin..and I need a good breather.
Try and relax mama.  

Of course. Let me guess, he's between 2 and 4 years old right? That age is probably the most frustrating lol.
My mother is taking DS on Christmas and I'm getting him back on New Year's. I know I'll miss him but I can't say I'm not looking forward to some peace and quiet lol.

It's been one of those days for a few days for me! DD is going crazy lately. Non stop! I've actually had to threaten to take the Christmas tree down if she keeps messing with it (I'm sure I will have it down and packed up by tomorrow). I wish I had family around to take her for a day!

Yup, 3 year olds aren't the easiest creatures in the world. DS was an angel until his 3rd birthday. Now he's 3 1/2 and recently learned how to be a smart-ass.

He's not without those either. But they are getting better so hang in there lol.

I'm counting down the days till when we go up to IL/WI for my sisters wedding because We will be leaving DD with my other sister for a week after we leave. It will feel nice to pawn her off to family for a little while.

its like a breath of fresh air. dont get me wrong i love DS but i just need some "me" time sometimes.
