I knew I wasn't wrong

posted 24th Nov
When I said carseats weren't suppose to be put on cart. I remember being on a convo on here and stating that one time I put my daughters carseat on the cart and it almost tipped over. I was told I was wrong and I must have put the carseat on wrong. Then I see this at walmart today and was I knew it wasn't safe! Thought I would share because it really isn't safe to put carseats on the cart.

Mine always clicked on to the cart, and I always had a hand on it just in case.

Yah they never were intended for the car seats but I stand in front of mine so they won't fall I'm always with someone so do the shopping and ur correct the car seats connect so that the upper part is down more and it like making all the baby's blood rush to there head.

I've always used the carts that have the infant seat attached already. I've never let go of the cart that my daughter was sitting in whether she was in the front or sitting inside the cart (yes, I put my daughter in the inside of the cart when she was a toddler.... I'm horrible!)

Some fit, some don't. I did it with my first daughter, but will be wearing this little dude when we go places.

I always put mine on the front, it clicked in. Untell my friends son got a skull fracture by the cart flipping over.

The carts with the seat on them here are all rusted and bents and there cracks do the belt on it won't help yah not using it.

They say even if it clicks still doesn't mean its safe. Mine always clicked, but if I hadn't had my hand on it the she would've been hurt. Some people have had babies die b/c they went over speed bump and baby seat fell out. I don't use it anymore.

This!!! The carseats will click in most carts, but b/c of this is why they aren't suppose to be used on there.

If it's clicked in.. how would it fall out over a "speed bump"?

The cart fell over which caused the baby to be hurt and die. Just b/c it clicks doesn't mean it is safe at all. Those spots are not made for carseats.

Eww.... the ones here are really nice! They are locked up and you have to go to costumer service to check them out, and you cannot take them out of the store to your car or anything. I think maybe that's why they stay nice!

The cart falling over is a completely different issue. A baby put in the basket of the cart, where they tell you to put the car seat, could have been hurt in that scenario. A toddler riding in the front correctly, could have been hurt in that scenario.
