Concerns

Ok so I have been having really bad headaches lately, I normally have headaches on a daily basics but lately they have been getting worse. Like nothing will make them feel better, meds sleeping nothing. Also since the headaches have gotten worse I have been getting really lightheaded and dizzy, and I can be just sitting here and I will start to see stars. Also if I stand up I will see them to. I have almost passed out a few times also. I don't know what it is but my husband is worried about me it made me stop working also, even tho we really need the money, he said we will make it at least to tax season. Oh also my hands and feet are hurting really bad to, my ring on my hand is cutting into my hand sometimes so I believe I have swelling also. As anyone else had this happened to them. I only have a little over 4 weeks left of this pregnancy.

Call your dr so they can check you out, just to be on the safe side

yes it can be. I swelled up really bad & started seeing little silver lines out of the corner of my eyes at 36 weeks. I ended up having severe preclampsita & had to be induced. Like i said call your Dr and get seen asap

yes it is and she needs to get her ass to the doctor ASAP.

That's what I'm thinking but when I seen her last she told me my blood pressure was fine I already have to go to the hospital once or twice a week to be monitored cause of me being highrisk all I know is the last time I was at the doctor they said I had so sugar and protein in my urine. But I didn't have much swelling at that time. I have to see my doctor on Monday anyways after I get monitored at the hospital. And get the ultrasound also.

If it gets worse go to the ER. Mine developed in a matter of days

See i get headaches every now and then, and sometimes see little stary type things, but my blood pressure has been fine all the way through, and i havnt (as yet) had any swelling.

yepper -mine developed in 12 hours and 8 hours after start of symptoms I was having siezures and a stroke and being intubated. OP this is nothing to smurf with, better safe then sorry

That's how I was from halfway through but Wednesday I started to see stars and getting lightheaded and everything, I had a headache when I was at the hospital last monday and I told them but they didn't say anything to me about anything else they said my blood pressure was fine. I'm just getting concerned. The swelling just seems to be getting worse and worse tho. I'm also always tired and I seem to be sleeping all the time or whenever I can.

What did they end up doing? I was close enough to 37 weeks that they just induced me I also had to get a partial epidural to help my B/P from getting higher

please contact your doctor and be checked! request that pre-e labs be done. Also one does not NEED to have high blood pressure to have siezures and strokes from pre-e. some of the worst cases I've seen only had marginally high pressures. If you have moved into HELLP syndrome (a more severe form of the disease process) you don't need to have high pressures anymore

I was 3 weeks PP when mine happened and in the ICU for unrelated issues. I was intubated and sedated for 2 days while they treated the siezures and stroke and tried to reduce the swelling in the brain. Then it was a week more in ICU for continued IV treatemt and then oral meds for about a month.

See here's the thing I'm already on meds to prevent me from having seizures, one of the reasons I'm high risk. But what's help syndrome I've heard of pre e before but not help syndrome.

i was told that if you have persistent headaches that don't go away with medicine or rest, it could very well be your blood pressure. i would DEFINITELY call your doctor or go into L&D so they can check you out.
