I'm almost 19 weeks, and just realized, i've eaten alot of brie cheese these last 19 weeks
It didn't even hit me til now (when i was reading something about it) that you're supposed to avoid soft cheeses that contain raw milk in them.

Should all be okay if i just lay off it now?

I would stop now. It's just because unpasteurized has bacteria that can be fatal to the fetus if you contract it. If you don't have it yet than you should be okay. I would still ask your doctor though. Maybe they can test you for it? It's still pretty rare to contract it.

Personally I stay away from unpasteurized milk and products while pregnant. I'm sure your fine as if listeria was going to happen you'd know by now. It's up to you though. I have seen some women laugh at the thought of giving it up. I just don't risk it.

Oh i'll definitely stop eating it now, ha.

When not pregnant i don't even drink caffeinated things so freaked out the other day when i drank some of dude's soda, when, i shouldn't have, haha, i just get paranoid when i'm pregnant. So something like cheese, i can definitely give up.

I'm the same way. I follow the advice but sometimes things slip by. I honestly think your fine and the cheese was ok because you would know if you had listeria.

I totally understand the fear...I didn't realize up until about 2 weeks ago how much sushi I had been eating...I usually get shrimp tempura rolls but still I was eating it like A LOT...I just stopped since nothing had happened to me yet...now I get veggie tempura rolls and I'm totally happy with it..lol

I'd just lay off the cheese for a the next 21 weeks!

Oh yes! i thank god i'm not a sushi-lover, cos just about all my friends are, and said they'd die if they had to give it up-- and that would suck
