How to clean urine from mattress?

posted 23rd Nov
My husband & I woke up yesterday morning to a large circle of urine in the middle of our bed, apparently our son had an accident in our bed & didn't wake us but just went & changed his pjs. My husband scrubbed it w/ carpet cleaner twice throughout the day & sprayed it w/ Febreeze, yet it still smells like urine & we smell like urine after sleeping in the bed. =( Any tips on how we can clean our mattress thoroughly?

At least you're trying to clean it and not just flip it over, lol.

Baking soda and vinegar!

Thanks ladies, we'll try cleaning it w/ the vinegar & baking soda & then spray it w/ the pet urine eliminator spray. We used to have a mattress cover for his bed but once he was potty trained we got rid of it & he always sleep w/ us now. We never thought to get one for our bed but now we will have to.
