if you had a repeat c section

how long after the c section were you walking around? did you have the baby in the room with you and take care of him/her?

I'm wondering this too! I'm so nervous for my repeat. But i'm hoping its better than my emergency , lol

It took me a good day and a half to walk around after my 2nd c-section and I was up walking around about 15 hours after my 3rd.

I had her at 4:45 and I think they had me up later that night.

She was taken to another hospital b/c of her health issues, but otherwise she would have been in the room with me (my cousin's wife had her 2nd a few hours after DD was born (also a repeat c/s) and her DS roomed with her)

Ya i walked the next day with the emergency, and it killed me.

Recovery for my repeat c/s was SO much easier than with my emergency c/s.

She's doing well. 4+ years later and you'd never know what she's been through.

Recovery with my repeat was easier for me I knew what to expect and everything)! My repeat was twins and they were in nicu so they weren't with me, but my hubby went to nicu with them while I was in recovery.

main reason is because me and DD are SOOOOOOOO close, she would just be so crushed and lost, I am just so scared mommy wont come home   makes me cry when I think about the hurt and pain she would go through. stupid anxiety. I lost my mama when I was 12 so its a huge fear she will lose hers.

I think the same things. My daughter is 3. I'm scared of something happening to me   i just want this to go as smooth as possible

Yes, I had my son with me. And with the repeat section, I was back to normal much faster. Just about 5 days.
