Prayers for my Poppy Please!

I dont usually ask this but if yall would please pray for my Poppy it would mean a lot to me. Hes my great-great grandpa and hes 90 years old. Hes the thoughest man Ive ever known. He lived with me my entire life till I moved into my house with my DH. Hes basically a thrid parent.

He started getting sick about a week ago. Not really wanting to eat but still drinking pleanty, but couldnt really get out of bed. Last night my whole family got together and he actually let me feed him some pie and got up to eat. We were all so hopeful. I left to do some BF shopping and he was alseep when I got back...I didnt get to tell him bye. Well this morning at about 8 my mom found his unresponsive and had to call 911. Hes in the ICU now and he had over 500-600CCs of puss in his chest cavity pressing on his lungs and he has a bad pneumonia. The Dr drained it and he has a lot of tubes going in him but they said hes doing well as can be hoped for.

I know yall dont know him, and I know this was long but I just had to get it out. It feels like its crushing me. I love this man more then life its self. I ask for prayers please!

No, :-( did something happen?

We thought he was unresponsive because he was sick. It wasn't. He must have went a while without enough oxygen. His body is working but the part if his brain that makes him him is gone. The dr is amazed because hi body has recovered almost all the way. We just couldn't watch him 24/7 and he stopped beat thing enough. My mama is beating herself up for it but even the dr said that it would have only taken 4 mins to do this and it took longer then that for even the ambulance to get there.

My Poppy is gone. He passed at 7:45 on 11-26-12, he was born 3-15-22. He was the very best man I ever met or could have hoped to meet. Ive never known this kind of pain. God Bless you Poppy, I'll miss you forever but I know you are always with me. I miss you
