Unique Names

So I read a lot on here how the only acceptable names are classic. I love unique names. I love the idea of a good solid name but with some art to it. Classic names became what they are because of the thought of someone. At one time they were unique and new. So i want to hear what are your favorite unique or artsy names.

My daughter's names are Fallon Alyssa and my newest angel is Scout Zaria.

Fallon is a family irish name. Scout we picked not because of Bruce Willis or To kill a mocking bird, it's because it means "to listen". And i believe God heard my plea for an angel since I havehave cancer and was told I couldn't have any more children. Zaria, yes sounds unconventional, but it is am old celtic name meaning circle of life of the daughter mother and grandmother. After i fully recover I am having the symbol of her name tattooed on me.

I love the classic names too.  

I don't mind names that are unique as long as their actual names. I hate when people name their kids some made up combo of letters because it's trendy.

That, or just names their children something sheer bloody stupid.

I completely understand that. I have seen some butchered names and it isn't pretty.

im naming my son Athan it means "internal life" its a greek name.

I don't mind unique names if they are "real" names....not a bunch of letters thrown together.

Also, where did you get your information about Zaria? Everything I've seen points to it being Arabic for "rose".

Alot of classic names are coming back into style. You can find classic names that are unique though. As long as names are real names with real definitions and not made up Idaf

You have to dig. There are a lot of variations. We have family that have the name. The symbol has bee. Part of celtic history for years. Its three cirles entwined. Its really awesome actually.

I knew a girl named Fallon... only met one girl in my life with that name but know it's more common.

My daughter's name is Lilyin, so it's a different spelling. I want to name any future boys, Taustin, after a friend. Thats a different name.

Otherwise, as long as things arent TOO extreme, I dont care. Let people be unique!

I was trying to think of examples of idiotic names but you nailed it lol.
My son's name is Nikolai Aleksandr. Russian. But back when me and DH were talking about adopting a baby, we wanted to adopt a little boy and name him Killian Ray. Killian because DH is Irish, Ray after my grandpa.

I love unique names. My issue is with "youneeke" names or names that could be considered normal or classic being butchered by spelling. (Emily spelt Emmaleigh for example). Heck, my daughter's name is Zora, and I've only ever met one other person with that name lol besides Zora Neale Hurston.
