I know a zillion Danielles. So what?

I love unique. I love classic eccentric names. Both of my children's names are ancient Greek, unique/odd but still classic.

Yea... Danielles born in the 80's or 90's. But the name Danielle isn't nearly as trendy now Aria is... But it's your kid...

Sure is. Definitely not going to hijack OP's discussion to defend my daughter's name.

Yeah, I dont see Aria as a name that's trendy from a show. I hear "Aria" and I think musical name.

Just like for me, I wanted to name my child Kadence (to follow the K trend of our family), but people said "Oh its from American Pie!" Or, the fact that I was pregnant in high school and was a total band geek!?!?!? lol. Love music names!

It is becoming very common. I see it alot on this site.

Swoon. Killian. <3 I am naming my next boy that. But I am unsure if I want it Killian/Cillian.

My son is Alistair. It is a unique name but classic. And it ages well.

Wrong. Those aren't the only acceptable names. And Scout, really?

She didn't say that they were, she just observed that it seems to be a popular sentiment.

And I think that Scout is adorable, but that may be because To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my all-time favorite books.

Eh my daughter's name is Ariadne. So I love Aria

It's not top 100 or anything, so I think I'm safe. It was the one name that DH was absolutely in love with, and I've grown to love it, too. He actually got it from Arya in A Game of Thrones, but I wanted to spell it the traditional way. I didn't realize until later that it's popularity was increasing due to PLL, but I still haven't actually heard it on anyone else's kid. I'm definitely not changing it now!

DH picked out Killian, since I made the full decision on LO's first and middle name.
I'm more of a Russian gal myself, and it's hard for us to both try to honor our heritage since they're so different.
