Water Breaking & Contractions?

For The Ladies Who Water Broke Naturally, Did You Start Having Contractions Before It Happened Or After Words? ( I Don't Mean The Braxton Hicks Kind )

Neither. I had an induction.

I was sitting down and had one strong contraction, when I stood up my water broke. But that's it, just one beforehand.

They started happening more frequently about 2 hours later.

My contractions didnt start for hours after my water broke...I think everyone's body is different tho

My water broke but I had to have pitocin to make contractions start then I only dilated to a three and ended up with a c-section.

Same here. My water broke with both my girls but no contractions before or after so i had pit both times..

with my first son I was in early labor having contractions that were 15 minutes apart and the hospital sent me home saying it wasn't broken yet. It finally did break about 10 hours after early labor started so i headed to the hospital and I was 7 cm dialated. My 2nd child i was induced and fully dialated so the doctor broke my water.

I was induced so I had pitocin induced contractions going on. They were going to break my water & right before they told me to get a shower... that's when mine ended up breaking on it's own. But my contractions were steady prior.... due to those drugs! lol

I didn't really notice much of a difference. LO is a mover though, so I probably wouldn't have noticed if he was wiggling around more.

He squirmed the whole way out lol

I had contractions for 6 hours (2-5mins apart the entire time) before I went into the hospital as soon as I got there they broke mine, but i'm sure if I waited even another hour it would have broke on its own.
