BATMAN

I hired a photographer to get photos of all the kids and grandkids. This was quite a smurfing ordeal because there are 5 kids and 13 grandkids.
Then I had it blown up and put on a canvas print.

That was more than 50-70 though lol

My mom wanted a new phone, she has straight talk so we got her a new phone.

My dad, eh, I don't know. Gift card probably.

Nada. In my family Christmas presents are for children only. But if I could, I'd buy my mom a car!

Me, personally, i love getting personalized gifts. For example, i had cups made for my parents that had all their grandkids pictures on it. Also we had blankets and plates made as well...those are gifts that never lose value and are priceless...im emotional giving them!

My mom has a Pandora charm bracelet. I'll just get her a couple of charms to add to it. My Daddy- I have no idea.

We're giving them a cookie bag that'll be tied with a picture of DD and a handmade ornament, or we'll hand out the ornaments right when they're done, then give them the cookie bag with DD's picture for Christmas day. MAY add candy canes to the cookie bags.

I find it difficult to buy for parents, because they typically can afford to buy anything they want on their own (my parents at least). so i agree that personalized gifts are nice or something that they want but maybe just cant see spending the money on. maybe a gift certificate for movies and dinner for a date night? My mom says she wants another plant but idk....

We decided that we are going to spend money together for an angel from the angel tree at the salvation army. We are going to each pick on and spend the day together shopping and having lunch together.

Neither of us need anything, really. It's going to be a fun day together..

My parents think Christmas presents should be more for the kids so now that the boys are getting older I would like to give them something more sentimental like some cute craft with a picture of the boys or something. But this year I am making homemade brown sugar scrubs and I know my mom likes those so I was going to give her one too.

I think i am going to get this picture on a fleece throw for her.. Her dad passed away a couple years ago. I think she will LOVE it.!
She's the first lady in the back row. My grandma is the last, and papaw is the one kinda sitting.
