You really need to get the courage to walk away. I know it can be really hard to (I was in a relationship that started to become abusive and left the moment it did) but you deserve so much better. Being in relationships like that screw with your head. The abusive person makes you lonely and will eventually make you not believe in yourself

At least you're smart enough to leave before it gets worse. It sounds like he has a lot of issues to work out and I would get as far away from him as possible. Keep your chin up, things will get better. You can find a new job, find a new SO (one that doesnt abuse you). Things might get worse before they get better but it will be so worth it in the long run, staying with him can only lead to a miserable confined life for you.

i'm so sorry your going through this! i really truly hope everything gets better for you soon. Find a safe place to live because no one should ever have to live in fear of abuse.

can you call the cops?

I was silent for years about the abuse I suffered, even after I left him. I only just now (yesterday) started filing a report about the abuse and got a restraining order against my ex.

Please, don't wait like I did! Not only do you need to leave (which you are doing, right?) but you need to report him!

Run as fast and as far as you can. He's probably cheating and is not happy and trying to get you to end it. Run away while you still can! As for the "he says he doesn't remember" my ass he doesn't! He knows damn well what he is doing.

i try so hard to pretend like everything is ok...i don't know why i try to pretend like it is...i dont even talk about it much on here. I only really have my dad but me and my stepmom don't really get along.
