I think I might try to find like those hotels that I can just rent for a month or something while I figure out what i'm going to do. i really don't want to move in with my dad..I don't want to add to my misery. I just am going to find a cheap apartment.

That's still no excuse as to why you can't end the relationship. Why wait on him to say he wants to break up? Why can't YOU be the one to stand up and end it? He's not going to end it. Why would he? He gets to beat up on you and he knows you're going to let him.

I would. I'm sure they have some cheap ones that you can pay weekly. Grab your stuff and go. Don't wait for him to come home, don't tell him anything, just go. Do what's best for you.

The police will also make him give your keys back(as long as its under your name) they will help you. They will also help you find a women's shelter or safe house.

Call a friend to come pick you up or your dad... or call the cops, they will make him give you back your keys and car.
