They tell you that you HAVE to but you really dont. I worked in a hospital for 5 years, and watched them tell that to a lot of people. If you read your Bill of rights for your hospital there should be an area where it says the patient has the right to refuse anything. they told me my ear rings had to come out in case i needed oxygen. i am living proof that my earrings did not stop my breathing with a oxygen mask. Exercise your rights in the hospital, don't let your pregnancy be uncomfortable for you just because they say you HAVE to!
