normal?

I had a rough cervical exam/membrane sweep on Wednesday morning. My cervix still feels like its on fire, and I'm still spotting - although much lighter now.

Is this typical, even 48+hrs later?

Hmm I wouldn't say normal but I don't think alarming. I only spotted a few hours with any of my sweeps or exams.

I spotted on and off for 3 days after my last exam. I'd say its normal as long as it is JUST spotting and it's not bright red. If the exam was rough it may have caused you to have your bloody show.
I just so happened to have mine as soon as she checked... yuck.

It was bright red bleeding the first 8ish hours. Then brown. But ive never had the pain last this long. Its like he forgot to pull his fingers back out and they're just chilling up there. It hurrrrts.

for me thats typical... usually once i started pelic exams at the end f pregnancy I am always spotting on and off till the end usually..

So is the big day the 25 or 26th?

We have to be at the hospital at 6:30 in the morning on Monday. And since (as of Wed.) I am about 2cm, they're just going to start me straight on Pit. So fingers crossed it doesn't take long!!

Nope. I went from closed last Friday to 2cm on Wednesday, so I guess to him that was enough? I'm hoping with all if this pain ive been having, that I'm even farther dilated.
