I spoke with a nurse from Children's Hospital last night and she said they don't even recommend Tylenol to children anymore because studies have shown it can cause asthma. Which is weird to me since Tylenol is all you're allowed to take when you're pregnant.   But, we had a rough night but this morning she woke up and only have a fever of 100 again. Thank goodness.

They still recommend tylenol over ibprofen at our children's hospital.

I had never heard of that before, we usually give ibuprofen for fevers and tylenol for body aches with a cold. I doubt she'll be getting asthma from the small amount of tylenol she gets.

yea they say tylenol is "safer" than ibprofen since ibprofen is a NSAID (I think that is what it is called)
