Does this sounds like a heart attack symptom???

I was just at my dads and he looked really uncomfortable. He said that the area underneat his left armpit was in pain. And he was getting the feeling of shortness of breath. Im so worried about him, hes the type that wont go to the doctor unlest his limb is falling off..and he lives alone..so im thinking about calling and begging him to go to the hospital.

yeah i'd make him go in. could be a number of things but with the shortness of breath....i'd DEF make him go in.

If in doubt check it out my dad just die from a heart attack a few weeks ago and all the signs where there but he brushed it off as nothing please call 911/999

I just talked to my brothers and sister..we are going to try to convince him to go in..my brother might just have to put his foot down and make him go.

You really should call 911. If it is a true heart attack the EMS team can start him on a baby aspirin and get other time critical information before going to the hospital.

I would MAKE him go in!!
A coworker who I worked with for 5 years told me at work that his left arm was bothering him and his chest hurt. I begged him to go see a doctor. He refused. A couple days later I came into work and my boss called me into the back to tell me that my coworker had a heart attack the night before and passed away.
So please have your dad get checked out!!! It's better to be on the safe side.

Just curious, were you able to talk your dad into going to the hospital? Hope all is well.
