Labor at 36 weeks!!!

My friends water broke this morning, and she is now in active labor at 36 weeks. Last they checked she was 4 cm dialated, and if she hasnt progressed the next time they check, they wanna start her on pitocin. I'm a little concerned with that because she has been progressing fine, and I dont think she needs it. Her doctors are idiots, and her hospital has a horrible reputaion. Anyways, I know alot of women have perfectly healthy babies at 36 weeks, but of course I am still worried. Thoughts and prayers please! I'm waiting on my DH to get off work, then I am headed to the hospital.
