PVCs / heartbeat
posted 23rd Nov
Does anyone else have PVCs in their heartbeat? How often do they happen? I have them every 3-4 beats and last night I called 911 because they were every other beat and I was shaking, shivering cold, sweating profusely, dizzy... I am seeing the cardiologist today and will get more answers then hopefully but I am wondering if anyone else has this and what is the cause/treatment??

Antidysrhythmic medications are.used to control them. Hypoxia, hypokalemia or myocardial ischemia may trigger them.
Simpler causes are caffeine, drugs or increased emotional stress.

I get about 700 of them day. I've never had a doctor show any concern about them.

Im having roughly 15,000 a day, the cardiologist said theres not much they can do about it and it is for the most part harmless. Theyre going to do an echo to see if there is anything else going on though.
