What is it with men...

and cleaning?? If your DH/SO is incredible at house work-please leave now and don't tell me about it lol. I'm off work these last couple days and today I've started massively cleaning the house. Scrubbing carpet, floors, toilets, dusting, dishes, laundry, etc. My DH has been out of work for like 3 months-and has been a stay at home dad since. I've told him about 50 bajillion times that the housework and cooking is his job now, since I'm working fulltime. I think it's only fair. Here and there he'll do laundry without being asking, but typically it's like pulling teeth. I asked him 3 days ago to empty the dishwasher. I just did it today. He never remembers to do laundry that I NEED for work. I get so overwhelmed feeling like I'm alone because I feel like I do it all.

The worst is when I'll start doing a pile of dishes, and only then does he come in and try to help. I just wanna beat the hell outta him.

How do you get a lazy man to clean??? I've seriously tried bribing him with sex...

UGHHHHH!!!!!! i shoulda married a gay man...

UUghhh it's so aggravating. It's a bit different for you that you stay at home but he could still put in more effort. Men drive me nuts..

When I wasn't working, he would hardly EVER clean- unless I'd just refuse to do the dishes & let them pile up.... he would give in and do them. For the last, 6 months or so, he has been the one doing nearly all the housework. I work part-time (even tho its 5 days/week) and he works full time. He does the dishes, almost daily.... does laundry almost daily... only thing he dont do is the bathrooms, vaccumm- unless i ask, mop the floors or dust. but smurf........ im not gonna complain about that.

My husband is no good at cleaning either. Although my situation is different and I don't expect him to clean because I am the stay at home parent and I feel cleaning is MY job. He works all day and doesn't need to come home to a mess and start cleaning.
If your hubby is staying home and you are working full time, you need to like spend a day with him showing him how to clean.. what I will say is.. when I was sick my husband cleaned it was nice of him and I appreciated it... however.. his standards of clean are VERY different then mine haha. If he was the stay at home parent I'd have to teach him a few things!
