Thing is I have no money right now. No place of my own. His family not only owns the house we were living in, but they live next door. So I have no home. My stay here is very temporary. My blazer's transmission went out so now I have to sell it. Because of the holiday I have to wait longer to find out if I have a job or not. I will only go back to gather my things, period.

This has been an on going thing for the last 2 years. I have lost respect for him because of the smurf he's pulled. He even had the audacity to try to convince my best friend that I was lying about his email fun! I've known her for years! He tried to make sure she had his number, too. He did this is my grandparents driveway when she dropped me off here. He said some smurf to my grandparents, too.

Oh no, I'm done. I seriously don't care if I'm living on the streets as long as I'm away from that poison. Him and his family treated me like a child because I wasn't Christian. I'm atheist, but I'm not stupid! Here is what he said to me because in friendly conversation, my grandma mentioned I wanted to visit my sister in a few months for a few days:

"Well if you want to go get away from this life that you say you hate so much then tell me a date and I will buy you ur ticket and take you to the air port myself. You can go live how you always wanted to love no kids no husband just all by urself and when ur ready to come home call me and I will buy ur ticket to come back"

The whole thing with my sister and my fathers family comes with a wild story of its own. Some of you on here have read parts of it.

I would if I had a vehicle. My brothers live 2 hours away and don't drive because they live in the city. There's only soup kitchens here and the public housing has a huge waiting list

Why does he think he'd get the kids?

Good question. If I moved 2000 miles away I would take them. I have to have my kids. Mama hen prefers having her chicks in the coop at night, kwim? My friends don't want to get involved. He won't let me see them. So next week if he is still playing his mind game I will be calling the cops or the court on his ass for contempt of court. There is a shared parenting agreement

I would like to know who in their right mind would stay? There is actually a little more to this. Like his older sister living with us and always starting smurf with me out of jealousy. He lets her get in my face and run her mouth all the time, no matter what it's about. He literally sat 3 feet away an just watched, then sided with her

I don't know anyone who would stay. I hope you can get out of there, because you don't need that and for SURE your children don't. If he treats you like that when things get a little difficult, then how's he going to treat you when things get worse? It sounds like he's a hell of a man   You could probably talk to a lawyer and they would be able to help you find somewhere to go in the meantime. I know a lot of lawyers won't charge to just consult with them.

If your miserable then I would say leave. BUT be careful on just taking the kids if you have no where to go. One its not fair to the kids, but also his family will probably petition the courts that your an unfit mother. I have seen it happen. Just please be careful The kids dont need to lose their mommy

We were told it did not matter as long as they were fed and okay. He tried to take them from me last year when I was staying with family only because my grandparents smoke. If kids are here they go outside or to a far off room. If I really needed to I would stay with my brothers 2 hours away, I would not have moved from Ohio to Cali. That is just ridiculous! By myself, sure. I could handle starving and working all the time, but not with 2 kids. He keeps trying to play people. It's ridiculous. Yes, I'm very upset but I'm no dummy!

Monday I have one in particular that I need to call. A friend gave me her number. Hopefully this lawyer will be able to help. I need out of this hell hole of a situation quick. I've been through worse, just not with kids. It helps knowing I'm not the only one who would leave. This isn't 1900... I watched a lot of suffering from a marriage that was kept "for the kids"

Ok as long as you have somewhere to stay lol..still the way you explain his family I would not trust them. Oh and I have read stories where parents have lost custody of thei kids do to smoking!! I was like WTH!! ..As long as your not hot boxing the kids who cares!! Smurf here in CA if you get caught smoking in the car with a child under 7 its a huge fine!..My husband smokes, I use to. We do not smoke in the car or house. Ok I went off subject a little..

Haha that's fine. I do not personally smoke. My mother smoked so much that it made us ill and she still didn't lose us. This town could care less about smoking.. I do not let anyone smoke around them. If they do I will leave with my boys
