I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring. Seriously, the back seat is really useless. My 5 year old is boostered and he has to turn his poor feet in to ride back there. I swear the car is only made for one person. There is only one useable cup holder in the front too. The other one, you have to open the center console to use it. (Trivial, yes. But still goes with my adamant belief that the car was designed for one person. Haha)

Yup I had to switch dd around in one car cause she was at the 35 lbs 36" limit of my seat. And back then the only seats that went higher were more expensive. I'm glad they're coming out with new affordable ERFing seats now. I felt awful that I couldn't get her a new seat but we had just bought one new one for my car and couldn't afford a second one   she was 3ys 2 mos. so at least we made it past 3 yrs. we need we seats anyway by the time this child gets to that point so well get the best seat they have at the time.

I drove a chevy prizm but because of the way the seats were because i did put him RF the passnger seat had to be all the way up to no touch the car seat and im heavy/fat and had to sit in the back with him.... My tires were wearing funny.... I didnt notice that my mom did.

I'm gonna have to get DD a new seat here soon. I was stupid and bought a Britax RA50. She is getting too tall for it already. And I want a radian but I don't think it will work in my car because the buckle stalks in the back are like 6 inches long.

I would try one out anyway. You can twist the female buckle down 3 full rotations to shorten it

Yeah I'm trying not to set my mind on one yet just cause I won't need one for probably a year from now. All the seats will change by then haha

Even twisting them they are 3" long. I'd have to order one online just to try it out. I could get an AA to get some height though. I'll see. When I go to OH, there is a BRU that carries them there that I can try. I just don't wanna buy one for it to not work.

Wow that's crazy. Our car's are on the verge of being too short for an easy install

It sucks that more retailers don't carry them.

I just don't know if an AA will work because of how sloped the seats are anyway. They're bucket seats so they sit kinda like an AA would do. I have no idea if that makes sense.

I don't know what the RF limit is for height on DD's seat. But I think she's getting kinda close.
