ive seen 2-3 year olds still rf'ing and they are much taller than a 1 year old.. so i dont see where you are coming from with that one

I thought the recommendation was limits of the seat. Age shouldn't be considered. Just each individual child's size.

Their bones are not nearly developed enough to sustain in a crash if they're FF.

I just hate putting age on it cause so many people focus on it too much like its a milestone.

Also, might I add that my brother is very very tall. He is 9 now and only 3" shorter than me. And I'm 5'6"

They put age on their to save themselves. As a bare minimum. If not people would be FF their 6 month olds. And it's not about the childs size, it's about the development of their bones. At 11 months old, the bones haven't yet ossified so they aren't strong enough to sustain.
