Nikon D3100 or Canon Rebel T3i PLEASE HELP CHOOSE!!!

I have to pick right now I'm buying online so please let me know which is better!!!! I cant choose!!!

But, out of these two I think I would go with the Canon!

t3i. canon makes betrer lenses and they are more user friendly, the buttons are better placed.

Wow you guys are making this hard on me!!!! I want it specifically for newborn and child photography.. I still don't know which one to choose though!!!

If you're wanting it for that then you're better off buying just a body without the awful kit lens, and buying a 50mm 1.8 prime lens.

Well they both come in bundles with both 18-55 and 55-250mm lens so thats why I'm buying them right now for such a good deal.

Those are both very mediocre lenses and for what you're doing will serve you basically no purpose.

But, you are going to need a prime lens if you want to get into Newborn/Children photography.

OP, do you know anything about photography, or are you just buying on a whim?

If you're really wanting to get serious about it, I'd do some research before jumping on a bundle.
Like I said before, those two lenses will pretty much get covered in dust if you're wanting to get into newborn & child photography.
They're also both pretty slow.
You're better off geting a body, and a prime lens with a wide aperture.

Ok I understand what you're saying so which exact lens should I get and do I need more than one?
