People smoking around you while preggo

So i have a family member who is concerned about people smoking around me... especially pot... i don't smoke it but they do around me but when they do i have windows open and fans going and they are not blowing it in my face so can this still hurt the baby shes wondering??? im 35 weeks and the doctor says im healthy and the baby is healthy... i think shes blowing this out of proportion and i don't think its a big deal they aren't doing it every day...whats everyone's opinion. ( some women even smoked during there whole pregnancy and the baby is fine)

I don't think it's a big deal tbh. It's not like you're smoking. If it bothers her tho, why doesn't she smoke outside?

I wouldn't worry. There's no proof that weed is dangerous while pregnant( I wouldn't smoke it anyway, but I don't do weed) and you aren't smoking it directly so I wouldn't give it a second thought.

weed isn't dangerous during pregnancy, i smoked it my first trimester with my son and he is a very healthy 16 month old now. i wouldn't worry about it at all especially if the doctor is telling you the baby is still healthy.

Yes, second hand smoking is dangerous for you and baby. And yes women smoke through out pregnancy but it doesn't make it right. In saying this my family have smoked around me during this pregnancy although I try to make sure this happens rarely.

its not even a once a week thing it was just that one time where my bf had his friend over and my sis over and my brother was there and they were smoking pot and my brother snitched and said they were smoking around me and got my mom all pissed off and freaked out ..like i said they blew it out of proportion and then she called n said im done helping you out ...bunch of drama  

I'm not a smoker myself never have been, i have family memebers that smoke but they never dared smoked around me when i was pregnant, but it happend a few times when i walked in a room or a place where people where smoking and i could say that a handfull of times, when i have birth , (now my baby was already diagnosed with hlhs , so dont think thats what did that cause ,no its not) . So ya baby was ok and i was healthy as ever but when they delivered my placenta, she asked me if i was a smoker. She said that it was so hard and tearing up, she said thank god u delivered now!
