Nervous, going to talk to judge

I'm dressed nice, even have on my pearls. I'm ready to go but my lawyer said she is running late so I won't be leaving until 9:30am. Which means I have about 45 minutes or so to sit here and think of all the things that could go wrong... ugh.

(And yes, I'm going to be posting about this case a lot more since I'm freaking out about it. Sorry!
Back story made short: abusive ex threatened to kill me and kidnap my kid, I went into hiding for a year and he put out a missing persons on me and my daughter, and got my phone number so has been calling me and threatening me. I'm getting a restraining order, filing criminal abuse charges and then filing for full custody.)

Everyone keeps telling me that. They say he stands no chance and I do believe them... but I'm still scared. He is a weasel and he is so damn charming, I wish I could explain to you how charming he is - and an excellent liar. God, I hope my judge is a man! haha

Men don't like him, women love him though.

Judges generally have their minds made up by the facts of the case. Domestic violence, threatening to kidnap are not usually judged well. I would suggest you get a taser or something, and get her a childs watch with gps in it. That way if he ever did take her law enforcement could track him.

Honestly, I think that he is going to go to prison for awhile if my old doctor testifies that it was due to physical trauma that I MCed in '08. My ex didn't allow the autopsy they do to find out why you MCed (I was about 4 months along) so I don't know if they did it or not.

If they did, and my doctor remembers the case, then he will go to prison for murder.

I definitely want a taser!! I know I couldn't pull the trigger of a real gun and don't even know the laws on self defense killings in this country, to be honest. But a taser would be awesome!
