Black Friday during the day??

So, I've NEVER even been out on Black Friday so I'm not sure how it works, but this year I'm working today 10am to 10pm (toys r us) we opened at 10 pm last night and the store I work in Is actually just a small express store at the outlet mall. I know it was probably crazy last night bit since it'll have already been 12 hours since it started by the time I go in will it still be crazy?? I thought the shopping kind of dies down during the day. I'm kind of hoping it hasn't and that we're still busy because if we're slow today it's going to make these 12 hours just DRAG..so tell me ladies, what's it like during the day??

Usually by noon everything is pretty much dead. Everything is gone so no one wants to shop anymore.

I'm sure toys r us will be busy all day. The sales are still going on so people are still shopping!

It will be a mad house. I would be fired in the 1st 30 min if I worked there! Good luck!

I worked black Friday at Target a few years ago. By 8a it was just like a regular day

Yep, I opened at 7am and I've only had one customer in my store so far. Though, we're not typical "black friday" candidates, we are in our local mall and it's pretty dead already.

So, I'm sure by the time you go in, there will still be a lot of customers, but not that crazy, "THAT"S MINE!" crowd.  

Blah! I realllyy hope were not just painfully slow all day.. I'd of rather worked all night, lol.. Especially considering our store is really just a super tiny outlet, were not even the big toys r us.
