Is it true?

Is it true that if you don't put meat in the fridge at room temperature it can go bad?

BD took all the meat in a tin, put foil on top and put it in the fridge. We just warmed up a few pieces and he think it went bad.
I asked how and he was like, I put it in the fridge while it was still hot, I should have let it cooled down more..

Um.. what? I think it's just because I put it in the microwave and sucked all the juiciness out of it.

I do that and Ive never gotten sick..

I've never had it go bad.

I've never waited until food was room temperature to put it in the fridge!

If we keep something we usually put it away right before bed lol

USUALLY ITS BEST FOR IT TO COOL DOWN COMOLETELY AND BE THEN PUT IN THE FRIDGE

That's why its never put away before LOL. My husband usually finishes it before then LOL.

No....it's not true. You don't have to wait until it's cool. I've worked in diners ect. since before it was legal for me to work...lol As a matter of fact the longer you let it sit there...the more of a chance it has to collect bacteria.
