Quoting Summerfrost:" If i was bleeding every time I had sex, I probably wouldn't risk it. Also, every time there's blood, especially in the 2nd trimester, you should call your ob and let them know. "

it's not every time, and when it is, usually really light brown, the next day. the doc said that was normal.
this new blood thing is just recent.

Is that an elliptical?   I honestly don't know. I hate the gym and excercise, but in the military they say ellipticals/stationary bikes are OK during pregnancy because they are low impact. I prefer to swim if I need to tone up.
As for the bleeding, IDK   I had bleeding, but it was really early or really late. Well,... Not REALLY late, but after 26 weeks. I bled heavily at 26 weeks with my 1st. It was bright red. OB never knew what really caused it. He blaimed it on possible cervical changes.

That's basically what my doc has chalked it all up to so far! I'll definitely check in tomorrow though and see what she says.

And it's a nordic track stationary bike   so basically, a sit on your butt like a chair bike

Ohh nice! I like lazy     Yeah I really hate that reason because you just never know. I always look to the doctor to give me some sort of legit reason. So are you dilated at all?
I had a bit of bright spotting with my second. My OB never said it was because of anything. Since it was my 2nd and I was only 1 cm.

Clotting isn't good but you've had the baby checked so it's probably the blood drying up which is good.
The cervix is closed for protection and sometimes when it is disturbed it will bleed to a) stop whatever is poking it and b) to flush the area.
My midwife suggested no deep sex but I gave up completely as I bled in my last pregnancy but not from sex. When I was bleeding before they kept asking if I'd had sex as it is something they see a lot.

Biking is fine as long as you don't over-exert yourself and warm-up first so no muscles are pulled/torn.

Definitely ask and hold off from sex until then. I have previa and was just hospitalized and am now on bed rest until my next u/s next Friday.
