MIL *vent*
posted 22nd Nov
So my mil is usually pretty nice to me... Most of the time. But she is very opinionated and I'm very strong willed. Ie: if I feel a certain way, I'm sticking to what I believe no matter how hard you try to change my mind. Unless you make more sence than I do ofcourse. Ok, well today was obviously thanksgiving and I know she was a bit upset we weren't with her the entire day because we basically spit time between families. So we ended up seeing her a bit late tonight because she wanted to be spiteful and stayed at her friends hose longer than what she told us shed be. We were all gathered up at DH's aunts house and as soon as she got there, she started basically picking on me. Right away she said what I was wearing was too tight for the baby. Umm wtf I'm 12 wks pregnant. I don't think I need maternity clothes just yet. She mentioned it about 3 x's to make sure everyone heard her. I finnaly said "alight dang I haven't bought clothes, that's enough" then she said well what you wore to church last Sunday was too tight too. You shouldn't wear dresses that are too tight. It'll hurt the baby. Uhh no it won't! Mind you my dresses are spring type dresses, the ones that are right up high but flow loosely after the waist area so they're no where near the baby at this point. She was being a friggn bee I t c h!! And then my DH asked me why unwashed upset and wanted to leave?! Wtf! You're mom is being a troll!!!
Vent over!
Thanks for reading

EXACTLY! I don't think I need them at all! I'll just buy my belly band like I did with B and wear it my entire pregnancy. Unless I need to buy maternity clothes be cause I get ridiculously huge or something. But I'm deff not spending money on something I might not wear again after this baby. She's crazy!

Hahaha I only recently got maternity clothes last week and only because my best friend's mom bought me some.
I'm so baffled over the "it will hurt the baby" lmfao what?! I have NEVER in my life heard that.

I know this!
I should have been a smart ass and told her that. *snaps fingers* darn.
Man, I let my sil borrow a bunch of crap wile she was pregnant 2 yrs ago along with a few maternity pants from when I was like 7 mon and not fitting into anything.
I haven't gotten anything back:/ I also let her borrow my Doppler. I wish I had it but she hasn't offered to give anything back. And my mom thinks it would be "rude" if I asked for all that back. She told me to just go but new things. Like I poop money!

Haha oh man, sounds like she has some kind of beef with you and just wants to be a bitch to be a bitch. I'm sorry. In-laws can be terrible. I went with SO and his parents on a trip to San Antonio to visit his family, and SO's dad was smoking the entire car trip down there with the window barely cracked, and he knows very well how both SO and I feel about me being around cigarette smoke since I've become pregnant. Oh yeah, and drinking is so important to him he had to open a beer RIGHT when we got into San Antonio to finish the car drive down there. I about flipped on him.

Whaat, I don't think it'd be rude at all! Especially the doppler, I wouldn't want to buy another one...

I wouldn't think it's rude either. Just say something like, "remember that Doppler I let you borrow when you were pregnant? Welllll since you're not pregnant anymore and I am..." Lol

Yeah. He says that cigarette smoke being damaging to a developing fetus is "liberal bullsmurf"
The man seriously has no logic. I worry about SO because he has a tendency to believe nearly everything his dad says.

Idk...she had a garage sale a while back and I piped in to see what she was selling. I saw a table FULL of B's baby clothes, my diaper geanie, and a bouncer. All of those things except the clothes were borrowed. It pissed me off so I left fast trying to avoid a confederation. I'm sure my other crap was somewhere in there too

Haha right?! Almost as ridiculous as you "suffocating" your baby that doesn't breathe lmfao
I'd still ask her for it back, and if she says she sold it I'd ask for however much she sold it for. But I was an only child and can get bitchy about my belongings lol
