Difficult.

posted 22nd Nov
I do not know how to time my contractions. Like they slow down, a bit. Less crampy pain, but ugh.
The period like pains that never end. I lay down to relax, and drank a lot of water, nothing. I still have the pains. They are never ending.

It took me til my 3rd pregnancy to figure out how to time the darn things!

This is how it goes:
As soon as you feel your tummy tighten, write down the time. Then as soon as the tightness is gone, write down the time again. That is considered your DURATION.

Then, as soon as your next tightening begins again, write that down again.

Now, the time from the start of the 1st contraction and the time from the start of the 2nd contraction is considered your "how far apart" part lol.

Does that make sense??

The L&D usually will want to know how far apart and the duration of each when you call or go in.

I used to have a good one but now I can't find it   it was perfect. The screen was pink and white. And it gave a spreadsheet for the results as you were timing them.

yeah it's pretty simple. start when it starts, stop when it stops. and it keeps the tedious task of intervals and length done for you
