Project Reason - Bible Contradictions

Maybe I'm new but this is the first I'm hearing of this massive project.
Every red line represents a contradiction in the Bible.

I'm kind of overwhelmed by all the red lines. I was raised Christian and I think if I saw this during my days of devote practice I think I'd be upset by it. Are you?

No, I think it's awesome someone did this.

I think you can find a lot of supposed contradictions if you take them out of context. it would definitely be interesting to look at that more in depth though.

You know, I get the whole "believe without seeing" thing. I believe in aliens, I believe in ghosts, I believe in demons... but I struggle with believing in the Christian God.

My uncle believed he could drive drunk and be safe, even though common sense said otherwise. That didn't turn out so well.

What? That is part of many religions teachings...

Problem with the Bible is it was written so long ago, by lots of different people in lots of different languages and then translated and re-written then cut up and glued back together a few times.... all by human beings in human languages. Even if it is inspired by God, he did not literally enter anyone's body and possess them so he could write out what he wanted to say.

Think of it as paraphrase upon paraphrase.

except that if you compare the earliest copies of the Bible with recent ones, they are amazingly accurate.
