3cm

Any moms told they were 3cm around 37 weeks? If so did you end up having your LO before 40 weeks?

I'm 3 at 38 weeks. Still no baby

I was at 4 and had my daughter at 37 weeks

I just went to the restroom and im starting to lose my mucus plug at least thats wat i believe it is kinda bloody and slimy sorry tmi?. FTM kinda clueless..feeling crampy back hurts but honestly i have not felt a contraction. Gettin a sharp pain in my cervix here and there but nothing too painful. Beginning stages of labor or my body just getting itself ready for whats to come in a few weeks?

I was 3 or 4 cm at 37 weeks. At 39 weeks I was 5 cm and 100% effaced and still pregnant lol. Finally had DD at 40 weeks.

I was at a 3 at 34weeks and still went past my due date and was induced

W/ my 1st I was 3cm at 34 weeks.. They put me on medication and bed rest til 36wks then, nothing happened until 38 weeks.

It's crazy how it can go.. You just never know.

If its slimy and bloody it is possibly your bloody show which unlike mucous plug means labor will be soon.

In my experience a mucus plug is more of a brownish green goeey mess (search google images for it)

O ya its bloody and slimy not a ton or anything tho..I rlly hope labor holds off im barely 37 weeks! I want him to bake a few more weeks.

I was 3cm at 37 weeks about, lost my mucous a few days after, and was at 3cm for about a week or two until I went in to be induced, and when I went in (39 weeks 3 days), I was 5-6cm. Lol. I did a LOT of walking tho, that helped the process I believe. I feel that if I hadn't gone in to be induced I probably would have gone on my own soon after anyways.

Im glad to hear that some of you have been dilated for awhile and held off a few more weeks. That makes me feel better. My doctor just said that i could have him in the next week or even walk around at 3 cm for a few weeks so thanks for the stories I know ever pregnancy is different but its always good to hear what others went thur.

Yeah it's always hard to tell, some women can go weeks at 3cm, some go days. It all depends on the woman, everyone is different.   Good luck hun!

Thanks.   All I know is im not running to that hospital until I actually feel some kind of contractions at least 7 mins apart. Because like in your case you held out a few more weeks even with losing your bloody show.

Yeah, with me, I went 3 or more weeks with my first at 2cm, then when I got to the hospital to be induced, they gave me a pill to help me dilate naturally, and when I actually went into labor, I had her within 5-6 hours.

With my second, I went in to be induced and had her within 5 hours. Lol. In my case, I just need that extra push (induction) to go into labor, then I have quick labors. I hope that when you do go into labor (hopefully around your due date for ya  ) that it's quick for you!
