Do you think the name Ellie is a name baby can grow up with?

I love the name, but am afraid that its to cutesy of a name for baby to grow up on.

We have an Elliot. We call her Ellie, Elle, and belle. She can choose what she wants to go by when she's older. I think Ellie is appropriate for any age though

I think it's a lovely nickname but she should have a longer name to go by professionally if she wishes.

It's a nn, not a real name IMO.

We named our daughter Ellery and call her Ellie (and sometimes Elle) for short. I love it. I know it's different but don't think it's too weird and can grow with her.
