unboxing then wrapping presents

posted 22nd Nov
Has anyone ever took their LO's toys out of the box, untied the wires, installed the batteries, assembled, etc. and THEN wrapped it? So when LO unwraps everything, they can just dive into the playing?

Ha! Thanks! I am thinking about doing to to save the hassle of cleaning up on christmas morning, too. It has a lot of advantages for now. When DD is older then it wont make a difference, but for now I think this might be the plan for this christmas. I got her an armchair and a table with 2 chairs that will both be put out/assembled for her when she wakes up christmas- then everything else will be wrapped but unboxed. Yes. Then its just bows and paper to toss, instead of 11 bags of boxes!

lol DD is only 17 months and has no clue. She's still all "YOU GOT ME PAPER?!?!? THATS SO AWESOME!!!!!!!" and just as a ball with the paper.

at 17 months she'd probably be happy with paper and boxes!

yay! no problem!
I know that feeling! LOL! then the scramble for batteries, then the dreaded "we only have 7 AAA, it requires 12! AHHHHHHH!"
-_- This way, ill have time to get everything I need and not have to move an extra inch on christmas morning.
