I'm being a pissy little smurf

And I don't even care.

My boyfriend has had a dick up his ass for the last two days. I thought it was because he's started a new shift at work and now works a smurffy split shift from 9 am-6:30 pm and then 8:30-10:30 pm, so I've been trying to ease his day as much as possible. I work full time but I've taken over all the housework, I make sure dinner is ready at 6:45 so he has enough time to eat and still unwind afterward, and I pack him a lunch and last night I put a cute little note on it just saying I appreciate his hard work and I'll see him tonight because I left before he woke up.

I just got home from Thanksgiving dinner with my family and not only did he leave his lunch in the fridge, he threw my note in the trash.

I'm so smurfing done with this smurf.

WTF is his problem. Maybe he is just stressed about something. You were trying to be sweet and he was just being an ass.

I feel like he's pissed at me too, but I don't know why. I've barely even seen him. I get that hour with him. I'm asleep by the time he gets home and I leave at 5 am to get my kid to school and myself to work.

It's hard when you barely get to see each other. I understand that, s/o works night shift. When he gets home, I'm getting up getting ready to leave.

I'm not sure why that would make him angry at you though, it's not your fault you have two different schedules.

I think he resents the fact that he "has" to work so much. This baby wasn't planned and came at the very beginning of our relationship.

I tell him every time he increases his hours, he doesn't HAVE to do it. We are way more than comfortable on our combined 160 hr/paychecks and when I have to quit working we'll be comfortable on just his. We don't need to save that extra money if it's going to kill him to work that much.

He's been like this for most of our relationship

I hate to be blunt about this... but I mean... does he even want the baby? You said it came at the very beginning of the relationship. Maybe he just feels like everything is going too fast and he's come to the conclusion it's not something he wants?

I don't know. I don't think he wants ME but I think he's excited for the baby, now that it's sunk in. He didn't want it in the begining though.
