Does your toddler have a blanket or lovey? How old are they?
When will you take it away?
my daughter is 3 and has used a blankey at nap and bed time since about 8 months.
She has no specific blanket though, just any receiving blanket. We have a bunch.
I don't see any reason to take it away because she only uses it at bedtime (doesn't nap anymore).
What about you?

My DD its three and she has one blanket that she uses. I'll never take our from her. If/when she decides she wants to get rid of it that will be her choice. I have mine from when I was a baby and still sleep with it.

Both boys have loveys. They only sleep with them. They are small blankets with a satin edge that the rub as they fall asleep or if they get so upset they climb into bed.
They are almost 6 & 3 1/2. I don't plan on taking it away, they take them to grandmas for sleepovers too. They will give them up when ready.

My 4 year old will only sleep with blankets she's had since she was a baby. She doesn't carry them aroun and take them anywhere. She just has to be covered with one at bedtime. No reason to take it away

My 2 yr old twins are ATTACHED to their blankets. I will not take it from them....it helps them feel comfortable and safe. I do have a cut off though as to where they can take it and stuff like that.

my son has a blanket that he has with him 24/7.
he will be 2 next month & he has had it for almost 2 years.
i won't be taking it away. i feel bad taking it away because he has been with that blanket through bad times. when he was sick & had several procedures & surgery(he always held on to that blanket & was the only thing that would sooth him)

Yes and never.
My 10 yr old.DD still sleeps with her Winnie the Pooh crib blanket. Even brings it with her to.sleep overs at friends houses. And she took it to school with her till the first grade. Lol
My 4 yr old sucks on tags to go to sleep and has since she was 1 month old. She uses the tags on toys and places it between her lips and sucks on it. Lol I will never make her stop. She will when she wants too.
My now 9.5 month old is a tag sucker too. Lol
