Medication and Tummy Bug

Hey quick question
I started taking topamax abotu 2wks ago, and I am just getting over a stomach bug
I take 2 topmax pill twice a day, since starting it, its made me have small headaches and a little stomach ache. I wouldnt feel even worse if I skip it for a day until the bug is gone right?

I wouldn't recommend skipping the topamax, are you taking it for it's anticonvulsant purpose or migrains? Stomach ache/nausea can be a side effect. It has only been two weeks your body is still adjusting. I would NEVER skip a dose unless you consult your physician. Hope that helps and hope you feel better soon!!!

Anxiety I stopped taking it 6 months ago I do not remember ever feeling like this on it, im also on a thyroid medicine but ive missed my thyroid medicine before and felt ok.. I think im going to take 1 pill twice a day so i will do the half dose.

well too each his own but I would say it isn't really a med you want to mess around with :S any anxiety/anticonvulsant med can have horrible side effects from withdrawl, just talk to your doctor and go from there... good luck, hope it all works out!!
