I live in a little town out in the boonies, and my college is in a little town too but the only time I've ever heard of something like that being an issue is for the classes not too many people take, the ones for the 'odd degrees' that not a lot of people pursue.
Yeah though, definitely next fall look into it. FAFSA is relatively easy to fill out too, just have your tax forms ready.

its not your fault. he needs to get off his ass and step up. if he goes to jail he deserves to. your child is just as valuable as his other child.

Having parental rights terminated is hard even if he is a crappy father. Courts are not in the business of making children fatherless even if he doesnt do anything for your child.

Me personally I honestly wouldnt care if he went to jail or not behind the child support issue, your child needs insurance thats more important than anything.
